Who are you? What do you want? — Each of us has special career needs that must be met for us to be satisfied. These needs are often called drivers or motivators. They stimulate your interest and drive you toward certain directions. That is why you choose certain subjects in school or sports. That is why we lean toward certain professions. Today, there are many free online assessments that will help you to identify these. If you can't find a suitable assessment tool, then check in with a career counsellor. But no matter what, find out what motivates you. These motivational drivers include the need to have independence in your work tasks, being in a technical, a social or an entrepreneurial environment, the need to lead or manage a project and/or ensuring you have life-work balance.golden teacher growkit Teaching only happens when you've got the student's attention and they want to learn. My last student turned out to be very interested in historic buildings - we live near Salisbury Cathedral, and so there's a golden teaching opportunity 'on tap'. So we left the classroom and visited Salisbury Cathedral. It's got the tallest spire in the UK, at 123 metres. They started building it in 1220, and topped off the spire by 1330.golden teacher growkit But what if you think you have a really talented kid (everyone thinks they do) and you want to see him/her excel. As a coach let me offer you the game plan, the same one that I would ask you to follow if your child is training with me, the same one I follow with my sons.golden teacher growkit I was raised not to call people "out of their name". My grandmother named me David, after the great Hebrew patriarch. She taught me that my name meant 'beloved' and not to let folks shorten or alter it. "Dave did not slay Goliath", she admonished. "Nor was Dave king of Israel." She explained names often carried the weight of expectation. What you called others was as important as anything else you could say to them was her belief. More vital, though, was what we allowed others to call us. Hence, my edict.Turn off the noise. Have a quiet time each day to shift gears. If you work outside of the home, plan just 15 minutes of alone time in your car before you pick the kids up, or rush to the store. Get a great CD or tape and play it, all alone in your car as you change states from employee to mom, wife or sane woman.A last warning: Don't be fooled by the glitz. Often the best martial-arts schools are the plain ones … even the classes taught out of a garage. It's the same with ezines — more often than not, the better ezines are plain-text emails.Wherever you are right now in your life, please stop for a moment and hear this truth. The true gold lies not in the outcome or accomplishment, it is in the process of creating. When you give yourself a little space and care for the golden goose inside you, you will once again lay a golden egg. Don't worry, there is no where to go, you have everything you need for the blissful life you desire. You just forgot where the true gold lives—inside of you.Men are not saints so who can avoid mistakes? It is most important to correct the wrongs. He who knows his sins and still does not repent cannot return to Heaven. If one accumulates merits first but sin later, all merits will not be counted. If one sins first but accumulates merits later, merits can offset sins. If one corrects previous wrongs and then accumulates merits, all his merits will be recorded. If one has a lot of sins and few merits, he will be cast into the great catastrophe. Merits in Heaven are counted in this way so he who repents and corrects wrongs before accumulating merits is a true pillar of Heaven. When we stop obsessing about how difficult teaching our subject or students or whatever is, and start obsessing about adding enormous value to the lives of our students - our success rates soar - and as an added bonus, teaching becomes much more pleasurable.growkit golden teacher School for me was not the most inspiring place. I was quiet and retiring on the surface but a secret revolutionary developing a silent but burgeoning dislike of authority in all its forms. I had a couple of special friends but was never invited to join the 'in' crowd. My personality was still forming. I had no way of impressing it on anyone. I had zero marketing capacity so I could never sell my coolness so that there would be buyers.golden teacher growkit People are free to be nude at the baths. Only the occasional person wearing a bathing suit seems somehow out of sync to me. People honor their own comfort level. Relaxation and soaking are good and healthful things to do. Massage and the baths really go together well.golden teacher golden teacher O.K., you have given your child time to work things out but the problem is still there, you still see the signs that tell you that your child is struggling to fit in. Now is the time to do something to offer help.Uses of Huxley (named after English Author & consciousness pioneer Aldous Huxley) are many. (Like Big Sur itself — "The Land of Many Uses.") People might be hanging out or in Love and Huxley is a favorite place to snuggle and feel safe and free at all hours.
